This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 95 dated 03.08.2015 under Sections 295A, 153A IPC and section 4A/4B/8 of The Punjab Prohibition of Cow Slaughter Act, 1959 and Section 11 of the Protection of Cruelty of Animal Act, 1960 at Police Station Barnala. Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from ASI Naib Singh, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated 02.09.2015, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, order dated 02.09.2015 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
