(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.76 dated 03.06.2018 (P-1), under Sections 326, 323, 148 and 149 IPC, Police Station Bhikhiwind, District Tarn Taran and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise.
Pursuant to order dated 29.11.2018 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 16.01.2019 for recording their statements. Learned Judicial Magistrate (Ist Class), Patti has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.44 dated 19.01.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Tarn Taran, vide Endst. No.443-R dated 21.01.2019.

CRM-M-30352 of 2018 --2-- According to the report, ld. Judicial Magistrate (Ist Class), Patti is satisfied that compromise made by the parties seems to be genuine and without any influence. No accused has been declared proclaimed offender. In compliance of order dated 08.02.2019, receipts regarding deposit of costs of `15,000/- have also been produced in Court today. The same are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of ld. Judicial Magistrate (Ist Class), Patti dated 19.01.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.76 dated 03.06.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners only.
Disposed of accordingly.
