This is a petition under Sections 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of proceedings against the respondents for non-compliance of the order dated 18.08.2023 passed in CWP-13173-2022. 2.

Learned counsel for respondent No.1-State has filed the compliance report by way of affidavit of Smt. Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu, IAS, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Fazilka alongwith a speaking order dated 12.01.2026 (Annexure R-1), which is taken on record. Registry to scan and tag the same at the appropriate place. A copy thereof has been supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioners. 3.

In view thereof, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt petition and the same is disposed off as such. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off. 4.

Needless to say, that the petitioners would always be at liberty to avail their remedies as available in law.
