(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.251 dated 31.12.2018, registered under Sections 406, 120 IPC, Section 13 of the Punjab Travel Professinal's Regulation Act 2014 and Section 24 of the Immigration Act, Police Station Mataur, District SAS Nagar and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (P-3). Pursuant to order dated 03.04.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 21.05.2019 along with receipts of `15,000/- to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, SAS Nagar (Mohali), has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.204 dated 22.05.2019, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, SAS Nagar, vide Endst. CRM-M-15313 of 2019 --2-- According to the report, ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, SAS Nagar (Mohali), is satisfied that compromise effected between the parties is genuine, voluntarily and without any pressure or undue influence. No accused has been declared as proclaimed offender. Considering the report of ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, SAS Nagar (Mohali), dated 22.05.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.251 dated 31.12.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner only. Disposed of accordingly.
