Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 216 dated 23.7.2013 under Section 365/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, District Amritsar City.
While issuing notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 25.9.2013-:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is a maternal grandfather of the minor children.
Notice of motion for 20.11.2013.
In the meantime, in the event of arrest, petitioner be admitted to interim bail subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. Learned State counsel, who is assisted by Head Constable Paramjit Singh, has submitted that in terms of the above order, petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for further investigation.
Accordingly, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioner vide order dated 25.9.2013 is made absolute. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
