Petitioner seeks concession of pre-arrest bail in a case registered against him under sections 308/323/324/341/148/149 IPC vide FIR No. 61 dated 23.04.2015 at police station Sadar, Khanna, Police district Khanna, district Ludhiana. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that injury attributed to the petitioner was not declared dangerous to life. Thus, he is entitled to concession of pre-arrest bail. Heard.

FIR was lodged on the complaint of Hardeep Singh who stated that on 22.04.2015 when he crossed the passage near Barotiwala road, accused together accosted him and inflicted various injuries. While other accused exhorted the petitioner, he inflicted a blow with reverse side of spade. While leaving the spot, they threatened the complainant side that they would be taught a lesson.

Under the circumstances, I find no ground to grant discretionary relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It appears AJAY KUMAR 2015.09.03 14:17 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM M-29407 of 2015 that earlier bail application (CRM M-19728 of 2015) was withdrawn by the petitioner Gurdeep Singh @ Deepa with liberty to surrender before the investigating agency/trial court. Petition is, thus, dismissed with `10,000/- as costs to be remitted to Punjab State Legal Services Authority.
