The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of FIR No.40 dated 11.2.2019 under Sections 406, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, Police Station Women Cell, District Ludhiana. 2.
The FIR was lodged at the instance of Narinder Kaur wherein she has levelled allegations to the effect that she has been harassed by the petitioner in order to press upon their demand of dowry. It is further alleged therein that dowry articles and "Istri Dhan" have been misappropriated.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that FIR came to be lodged due to some misunderstanding, which has now been resolved and GAURAV SOROT 2019.08.28 18:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

The aforesaid position is duly endorsed by learned counsel for the complainant, who is present along with complainant in person. 5.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and while noticing the fact that parties have amicably resolved their dispute, this Court does not find present case to be such which would warrant custodial interrogation. Accordingly the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued vide dated 08.05.2019 by this Court are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner would appear before Investigating Officer as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
