The present petition has been filed under Section 482 CrPC for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to conduct a fair and impartial investigation of the case bearing FIR No.22 dated 20.04.2017 under Sections 363, 366, 366-A, 376-D and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Purana Shalla, District Gurdaspur. 2.

A written request for an adjournment has been circulated on behalf of counsel for the petitioner on the ground that he is in personal difficulty.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Narinder Singh states that the accused in the present case stand acquitted vide judgment dated 08.05.2019. The said fact has also been confirmed from the e-Court website of District Court Gurdaspur.
