State of Punjab and others .............Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mrs.Himani Kapila,Advocate for the petitioner Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Prayer is for issuing a direction to the police machinery for protecting the life and liberty of the petitioner from his Bhabirespondent no.6, who is widow of the real brother of petitioner. It is not in dispute that there is a civil suit filed by legal representatives of the deceased brother of the petitioner seeking a share in the property left behind by father of the petitioner. The petitioner claims to have inherited the entire property on the basis of a registered Will.

After hearing the learned counsel and in view of the fact that there is already a civil dispute between the parties, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter since it appears that an unnecessary pressure is sought to be exerted on the widow. Dismissed.
