**** JAGMOHAN BANSAL , J. (Oral) The petitioner through instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is seeking direction to the trial Court to adjudicate the application of the petitioner seeking interim maintenance. Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that the marriage of the petitioner was solemnised with respondent No.1 in 2018. They could not enjoy the fruit of marriage and started living separate. The petitioner, in 2019, preferred a petition under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 (for short, 'DV Act'). The petitioner along with a petition under Section 12 of DV Act filed an application under Section 23 of DV Act seeking interim maintenance. The application was filed on 19.11.2019. The application since then is pending before the trial Court.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that there is likelihood of compromise between the parties, however, he concedes that ANJU GOEL 2023.02.24 17:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

It is conceded fact that the application of the petitioner seeking interim maintenance is pending before the trial Court since 19.11.2019. A substantial period of more than 03 years has passed away, thus, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the trial Court to expeditiously decide the application of the petitioner and preferably within one month from today. Disposed of.
