Mr. Amandeep Singh, Advocate for the petitioner. AARADHNA SAWHNEY , J (ORAL) Petitioner, at whose instance, criminal proceedings vide FIR No.354 dated 05.12.2024 were registered against unknown persons for the commission of offence under Sections 281,125(a),125(b),324(4) of BNS (Sections 279,337,338,427 IPC) at P.S Division No.7, Ludhiana, has filed present petition, praying therein for issuance of appropriate directions to the official respondents to proceed further in the matter, conclude the investigation and file the challan. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that pursuant to lodging of aforesaid FIR, no investigation has been conducted. Even the statement of the petitioner has not been recorded as yet. The limited prayer made by learned counsel, at this stage is that the representation dated 16.01.2026 (Annexure P.2) submitted by the petitioner be decided, in a time bound manner. Heard. Contents of the application perused.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and has no objection to the prayer aforesaid.
