*** Sudhir Mittal, J. (Oral) Allegedly the petitioner acquired rights in respect of plot No.1 near Bhai Jagta Gurdwara in an open auction conducted in the year 2013. However, physical possession was not granted to him and, thus, he has made repeated representations for allotment of an alternative plot but to no avail. The first representation on record for allotment of an alternative site is dated 12.10.2020 ( Annexure P-4) followed by representation dated 31.08.2021 (Annexure P-6) and legal notice dated 27.12.2021 (Annexure P-7). Thus, it is evident that the petitioner slept over his alleged right for seven long years. A litigant who is not vigilant of his rights does not deserve any relief at the hands of Courts of the justice.
