Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking regular bail in FIR No.58, dated 21.05.2014, under Section 22 of Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Bullowal, District Hoshiarpur.

Heard.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner was found in possession of 60 grams intoxicant powder (Diphenoxylate). Petitioner has remained in custody for about 5 months. Challan has already been presented in the Court. Conclusion of trial may take time.

Keeping in view the above facts, it would be just and expedient to order the release of the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the
