The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of an appropriate writ or order in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the services of petitioner on the post of Helper as he is continuously discharging the duties and responsibilities of the post of Helper since 18.08.2016 (9 years 6 months) to the utmost satisfaction of the respondent-Corporation without any break in service and grant all consequential benefits from the date the same fell due till the date of realization along with interest @ 18% p.a. Further praying for directing the respondents to grant the minimum of the basic pay scale along with dearness allowance of the post of Helper to the PUNEET CHAWLA 2026.03.20 12:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-7925-2026 petitioner from the date of his initial appointment i.e. 18.08.2016 along with interest @18% from the date the same fell due till the date of realization. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner at this stage submits that he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to decide the representation dated 20.11.2025 (Annexure P-5) by respondent No.1 by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner. 3.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Shivang Berry, Advocate had put in appearance on behalf of the respondents and submits that he has no objection in case a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to hear and decide the representation dated 20.11.2025 (Annexure P-5) in a time bound manner. 5.

In view of the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioners without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of and respondent No.1/competent authority is directed to hear and decide the representation dated 20.11.2025 (Annexure P-5) filed by the petitioner in a time bound manner and pass a speaking order, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
