MEENAKSHI I. MEHTA, J. (ORAL) Case has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to the outbreak of pandemic COVID-19.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the State has apprised the Court that as per the telephonic instructions received from S.I. Surjan Singh, the statement of the petitioner under Section 313 Cr.P.C. has already been recorded by learned trial Court on 08.07.2020 and now, the case is fixed before the learned trial Court for adducing defence evidence and also for final arguments.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner states that in view of afore-discussed facts and circumstances, he does not want to press the present petition at this stage.

Resultantly, this petition is hereby dismissed as having not been pressed at this stage.
