* * * * Mr. Heman Aggarwal, Advocate, who filed the writ petition, has not put in appearance in spite of notices. Mr. H.S. Oberoi, Additional Superintending Engineer, PSPCL, presently posted at Mohali stated that a demand of Rs.2,90,571/- was raised against the petitioner for Peak Load Violation in the year, 1997. He further stated that the said charges had been recovered from the petitioner on October 27, 1997 and it is further pointed out by him that the petitioner-firm has since been sold by its proprietor to somebody else.

In the face of the stand taken by the Additional Superintending Engineer, this writ petition has been rendered infructuous and is, accordingly, disposed of as such. Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioner to get it revived in case of need as none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner.
