The petitioners pray for protection of their life and liberty. They claim to have got married against the wishes of respondent No.4 to 7. 2.

On 13.05.2021, notice of motion was issued.

In pursuant thereto, the status report by way of an affidavit of Mr. Surinderpal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Baba Bakala Sahib, Amritsar Rural, has been filed. It has been stated that after the receipt of notice, respondent No.4 to 7 were summoned and they have given their statements that since petitioner No.1 has already solemnized marriage with petitioner No.2, therefore, they will not interfere in their married life. It has been submitted that in view of the aforesaid statements, the petitioners do not have any threat to their life and liberty.
