**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) The petitioner herein has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 61 dated 06.08.2016, under Sections 498-A, 406, 506, 323, 313, 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Women Sonipat, District Sonipat.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been in custody since 07.01.2017 and investigation is over. Challan has also been presented. He submits that on perusal of the FIR, no offence under Section 313, 498-A IPC is made out against the petitioner. It is also argued that co-accused Krishna Devi, against whom there are specific allegations leading to the abortion of the child, has already been granted regular bail in CRM-M-20541-2017 by order dated 04.07.2017. The trial is likely to take some time to conclude. No useful purpose would be served by keeping the petitioner behind bars till the conclusion of the trial.
