In the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, at Chandigarh Criminal Misc. No. M-29642 of 2017 Date of Decision: 16.08.2017 Balvir Kaur and Another ... Petitioner(s)

Versus

The State of Punjab and Others ... Respondent(s) CORAM: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Shekher Dhawan.

Present:

Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhasin, Advocate for the petitioner(s).

Shekher Dhawan, J.

Present petition for issuance of directions to the official respondents to change the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioners mainly contended that despite registration of FIR No. 44 dated 11.5.2017 under Section 306 IPC at Police Station Division No. 3, Ludhiana, no arrest has been made so far despite the fact that pre-arrest bail application has already been dismissed by the learned Court below. Petitioners are being pressurized to enter into compromise to which they are not giving their consent. They have made representation dated 24.7.2017 (Annexure P3) made to respondents No. 2 to 4, which remained unattended.

Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and perusal of record, respondent No.2-Director General of Police, Punjab, is directed to look into the representation dated 24.7.2017 (Annexure P3) and take required action, if any, as per law, as expeditiously Deepak Kumar Bhardwaj 2017.08.16 16:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Criminal Misc. No. M-29642 of 2017 as possible.

With the aforesaid observations made and directions issued, the present petition stands disposed of.
