(the aforesaid presence is being recorded through video conferencing since the proceedings are being conducted in Virtual Court) ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioners, who claim themselves to be major, have approached this Court seeking protection of their lives as they apprehend threat to the same, having married against the wishes of their parents and relatives.
Although petitioner No.2-Roshan Lal is stated to have been previously married but it has specifically been stated in para No.12 of the petition that previous wife of petitioner No.2 had expired before his marriage with petitioner No.1-Kirna Rani.
It has orally been informed by the learned counsel for the petitioners that first wife of petitioner No.2 had expired on 11.4.2020. The petitioners have already made representation dated 8.6.2020 (Annexure P-4) to the police.

( 2 ) CRWP-3891-2020 (O&M) While refraining from making any expression as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Superintendent of Police, Sirsa, District Sirsa (respondent No.2) to get the alleged threat perception of the petitioners examined expeditiously, in accordance with law and necessary steps as may be warranted under the facts and circumstances of the case be taken thereupon forthwith.
A copy of this order be sent to Superintendent of Police, Sirsa, District Sirsa (respondent No.2), so as to enable him to do the needful expeditiously.
It is however, clarified that the aforesaid order shall not be construed to be an expression as regards validity of the alleged marriage of the parties.
