JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of order dated 04.10.2023 passed by the ASJ/JSC, Sangrur in FIR No.70 dated 28.04.2022 under Sections 22 and 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985 registered at Police Station Lehra, District Sangrur vide which the bail granted to the petitioner has been cancelled. On 08.04.2024, the following order was passed :- "The Prayer in this petition under Section 482 Cr.PC is for the quashing of the order dated 04.10.2023 (Annexure P-6) passed by ASJ/JSC, Sangrur in case FIR No.70 dated 28.04.2022 under Sections 22 & 29 of NDPS

- 2 - Act, 1985 P.S. Lehra, District Sangrur vide which the bail granted to the petitioner has been cancelled and his bail bonds and surety bonds have been forfeited to the State. The Counsel for the petitioner contends that on account of ill health, the petitioner was unable to appear on 04.10.2023 because of which the impugned order came to be passed. He states that petitioners are ready and willing to join the proceedings once again. Notice of motion for 03.05.2024.

In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Trial Court within a period of one week from today and subject to a deposit of Rs.25,000/- as costs with the Society for the Care of the Blind, Sector 26, Chandigarh Account No.10506615304, IFSC Code SBIN0003246 State Bank of India, Sector 7, Chandigarh he shall be admitted to interim bail to the satisfaction of the Trial Court.

The petitioner is further directed to place on record the photocopy of receipt of payment as well as the order passed by the court below granting interim bail to the petitioner."

Thereafter on 03.05.2024, the following order was passed :- "In compliance of order dated 08.04.2024 deposit receipt of Rs.25,000/- has been produced by the learned counsel for the petitioner, which is taken on record as Mark 'A'.

- 3 - The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that one more opportunity be granted to the petitioner to comply with the order dated 08.04.2024.

The petitioner is, once again, directed to surrender before the trial Court within one week from today in compliance of the order dated 08.04.2024.

List again on 13.05.2024.

Interim order to continue."

Thereafter, again on 13.05.2024, the following order was passed :- "The petitioner is granted one final opportunity to surrender before the trial Court within three days from today in compliance of order dated 08.04.2024. List again on 22.05.2024.

Interim order to continue."

Despite passing of the aforementioned orders, the petitioner has not complied with the same. Therefore, the present petition stands dismissed.
