Prayer in this petition is for issuance of direction to respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to provide necessary security to save the life and property of the petitioner and his family at the hands of respondent No. 7 and other coassociates. As per reply filed by the State, after registration of F.I.R No. 68 dated 03.08.2016, the investigation was carried out by the police along with main F.I.R No. 68. While the investigation was going on, on 07.08.2016, a call was received from the petitioner stating therein that some people have fired upon his house. An entry in this regard was also made in Roznamcha of Police Station Sadar, Bathinda. Thereafter, detailed enquiries were conducted and a joint statement of respectables of the village were recorded who testified that no sound of firing was heard on the night of 07.08.2016 and both the parties are at loggerheads and often make allegations against one another. He concluded in his enquiry that no action is required to be taken in the matter.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition at this stage. The petition stands disposed of.
