Present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for seeking pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, namely Karambir Nain in case FIR No. 162 dated 06.12.2017, registered under Section(s) 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Sections 420, 466, 467, 468, 471, 193 & 219 IPC were added lateron) at Police Station Garhi, District Jind. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner has since joined the investigation and he is not required for further investigation in any way. Thus, he be released on pre-arrest bail. Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from Assistant Sub Inspector Rajesh Kumar, affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is not required for any further investigation.
