(ORAL) Prayer in the present Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for grant of extension in parole to the petitioner namely Santokh Singh for two weeks with effect from 06.04.2023, i.e. the date on which he has to surrender before the jail authorities on the expiry of his existing parole.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous, as the petitioner has already surrendered before the jail authorities.
