Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to grant the revised pensionary benefits and other retiral benefits to the petitioner with effect from 01.10.1997 on account of revision of pay scale. 2.
Learned State counsel while referring to paragraph No.1 of the written statement, it has been stated that the pay of the petitioner was rightly fixed in terms of the fitment table (conversation table), to which though there was a replication filed, which was controverted by filing a rejoinder on 04.03.2003 clarifying the position that as per Annexure P-6, an employee was drawing Rs.1850/- required to be fixed at basic pay of Rs.5800/-. Further that the petitioner was granted an annual increment on 01.04.1996, accordingly his pay was raised to Rs.5800/- and after the next annual increment granted on 01.04.1997, it was raised to Rs.6000/-. The petitioner having retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.09.1997 on completion of 58 years of age and DINESH 2025.02.16 22:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-14165-2002 (O&M) -2his pension was therefore rightly fixed at Rs.2960/- instead of Rs.3060/- as stated in the replication.
