(ORAL) In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 for protecting life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members from respondents No.4 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that purpose would be achieved if respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda, is directed to decide representation dated 27.07.2017 (Annexure P-3) moved by the petitioner in a time-bound manner.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, however, without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda, to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2017 (Annexure P-3) after hearing the petitioner by passing a speaking order within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
