Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed praying for issuance of necessary directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to restrain respondents No.4 to 7 from harassing and threatening the petitioners and for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 3 to protect life, personal liberty and property of the petitioners which are in danger due to continuous threat being given at the behest of private respondents No.4 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of para 7 of reply by way of affidavit of Satnam Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran, filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 dated 06.02.2018, present petition has been rendered infructuous, and may be disposed of as such. 2023:PHHC:099185 Relevant part of Para 7 of the aforesaid reply is reproduced herienbelow:- "That from the secret and open enquiry conducted by the enquiry officer and further from the statements of witnesses recorded during the pendency of the enquiry it was transpired that the respondent No.4 Tarlok Singh's daughter Prabhjot Kaur was died due to incurable SLE disease and the allegations that she was died by administering Poisonous substance and of demanding dowry were found false during enquiry....". It is submitted that in view of the above, no further direction is required to be issued in the present matter. Heard.

Present petition accordingly, stands disposed of as infructuous.
