(ORAL) Petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0564, dated 03.11.2022 (Annexure P-1), registered under Sections 21 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, at Police Station Sirsa Sadar, District Sirsa. 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to surrender before the trial Court and hence he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, however, he submits that an appropriate direction be issued that his application for regular bail be considered expeditiously. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, in case the petitioner surrenders before the trial Court within a period of ten days from today and moves an application for grant of regular bail, the same shall be considered by the learned trial Court expeditiously (if possible), in accordance with law. 4.

The petition is accordingly disposed of.
