(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No. 60 dated 22.03.2021 (Annexure P-1) registered under Section 420 IPC and Section 13 of the Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014 at Police Station Sadar, Kapurthala, District Kapurthala and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 01.04.2021 (Annexure P-2), effected in between the parties.

Pursuant to orders dated 01.07.2021, of this Court, the parties appeared before the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Kapurthala, on 20.07.2021 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Kapurthala, submitted his report along with copies of statements of the parties vide letter No. 880 dated 22.07.2021, duly forwarded by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Kapurthala, vide RISHU KATARIA 2021.11.11 13:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

According to the report, learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Kapurthala, is satisfied that parties have entered into compromise voluntarily, without any pressure and the same is genuine. There is no other accused except petitioner-Resham Singh and he has never been declared proclaimed offender.

Considering the report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Kapurthala, dated 22.07.2021 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, FIR No. 60 dated 22.03.2021 (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed, qua the petitioner only.
