Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 482 Cr.PC is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to investigate in a fair and proper manner and arrest respondents No.4 and 5 and other accused in FIR No.201 dated 15.12.2023 registered at Police Station Makhu District Ferozepur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even though FIR No.201 dated 15.12.2023 under Sections 323, 447, 148, 149 IPC (Sections 308, 325, 324 IPC added later on) at Police Station Makhu District Ferozepur was registered almost four months back, however, despite the bail applications of the private respondents having been dismissed by Courts of law, the official respondents had not made any efforts to apprehend them till now; the accused had been roaming around freely and extending threats of dire consequences to the SONIA BURA 2024.04.09 16:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel has further submitted that an application dated 15.03.2024 (Annexure P-6) has also been moved to Sr. Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur - respondent No.2 but in vain.

On the asking of Court, Mr. Amit Rana, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3. 5.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2-Sr. Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur to look into the application dated 15.03.2024 (Annexure P-6) and take necessary steps, if any required, in accordance with law.
