Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to the learned trial Court/Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda, to pass an appropriate order on the cancellation report dated 23.05.2015, submitted by the police in FIR No. 152 dated 06.11.2008 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 409, 468 and 471 IPC at Police Station Talwandi Sabo, District Bathinda, as the retiral benefits of the petitioner are not being released by the Department due to the pendency of the said FIR.

In terms of the order dated 18.08.2017passed by this Court, report from the Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda, vide letter No. 859 dated 13.09.2017, duly forwarded by the District and Sessions Judge, Bathinda, vide Endst. No. 1358 dated 16.09.2017 has been received. As per the same, the cancellation report in CIS No. 168 of 2016, titled as "State Vs. Suraj Singh Brar", FIR No. 152 dated 06.11.2008 (Annexure P-1) has been disposed of vide order dated 13.09.2017. 3.
