....

Coram:

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Inderjit Singh .....

Present:

Mr. Rishu Garg, Advocate for the petitioner.

.....

Inderjit Singh, J.

The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.11 dated 21.2.2017 registered for the offences under Sections 382 and 201 IPC at Police Station Bhadaur, District Barnala.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

The FIR in this case has been recorded on the statement of Jagtar Singh in which he has stated that when he was going from Village Himmatpura Majhuke towards Village Ramgarh on his motorcycle, then at 12.30 p.m. one car, in which 4-5 youths were sitting, who were armed with dangerous weapons, stopped him. They snatched `3300/- from his bag and `5200/- from his wallet and other documents.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present Harpal Singh Parmar 2017.08.21 17:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-29915 of 2017 [2] case, nature and gravity of the offences, I do not find it a fit case where the petitioner is entitled to the benefit of anticipatory bail as he is required custodial interrogation.

Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
