(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.0080 dated 23.08.2018, registered under Section 380 IPC, Police Station SGN Dev Thermal Plant, District Bathinda (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 25.03.2019 (P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 04.04.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 16.05.2019, to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Bathinda, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.228 dated 18.05.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Bathinda, through e-mail dated 20.05.2019.

CRM-M-15549 of 2019 --2-- According to the report, ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Bathinda, is satisfied that compromise between the parties is genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence. No accused has been declared as proclaimed offender.

Photocopies of the receipts qua deposit of costs produced in Court today are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Bathinda, dated 18.05.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.0080 dated 23.08.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners only. Disposed of accordingly.
