Prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of a direction that the petition under Section 7 of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961 regarding illegal encroachment upon the Government Street in Village Nasirewala, District Moga be decided in a time-bound manner.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from Mr. Rajnish Kumar, DDPO, Moga, has today informed the Court that the matter stands decided on 13.03.2026.

In view thereof, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. Permitted to do so. 4.
