1. Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C., the petitioners seek grant of anticipatory bail, in case FIR No.17 dated 15.03.2024, under Sections 452, 323, 506, 148, 149 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Sherpur, District Sangrur.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present FIR, however, even if the allegations are taken to be a gospel truth, yet the injury(ies) attributed to the petitioners is "simple in nature". He further submits that the petitioners are ready to join the investigation and to cooperate with the investigating officer.
3. Notice of motion for 30.04.2024.
4. Mr. Pardeep Bajaj, D.A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State of Punjab.
