IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH Criminal Misc. No. M-29933 of 2015 Date of Decision: 17.9.2015 Dinesh --Petitioner.
Vs.
State of Haryana --Respondent.
CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK Present : Mr. Sandeep Gahlawat, Advocate for the petitioner.
Mr. M.K.Sangwan, DAG, Haryana..
**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Petitioner seeks bail pending trial in FIR No. 13 dated 18.1.2013 under Sections 302/34 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station Rai, District Sonepat. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Ramesh Kumar, submits that next date before the learned trial court is 28.9.2015 and few witnesses are left to be examined.
Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly states that since trial is about to conclude, he does not intend to press this petition. He further submits that let present petition be dismissed as not pressed but the learned trial court may be directed to expedite the trial. Dismissed as not pressed, at this stage. However, learned trial court is directed to make an endeavour to conclude the trial at an early date.
