Coram:

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Inderjit Singh .....

Present:

Mr. Sarju Puri, Advocate for the petitioner.

.....

Inderjit Singh, J.

The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.110 dated 16.7.2016 registered for the offences under Sections 420 and 120-B IPC at Police Station City Nawanshahr, District S.B.S. Nagar.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

As per the prosecution version, the plot of the complainant was sold by impersonation and the allegation against the present petitioner is that he identified the impersonator being witness. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, without discussing the facts in minute detail and without going into the merits of the case, I find that the petitioner is required for custodial interrogation as he identified the impersonator at the time of the execution Harpal Singh Parmar 2016.09.07 10:37 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-30851 of 2016 [2] of the sale deed. In the circumstances, no ground is made out for grant of the benefit of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
