The petitioners are seeking a direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty as they apprehend danger from the private respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners are stated to have married against the wishes of the private respondents. He also contends that the petitioners are being threatened by the private respondents. Learned State counsel has filed status report by way of an affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Head Quarter, Panipat wherein it is stated that the statements of private respondents No.4 to 6 have been recorded. They have stated that they have accepted the marriage of the petitioners and they would not threaten or harass the petitioners.

In view of the above, no further directions are called for. The petition stands disposed of.
