(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.162, dated 21.05.2016, registered at Police Station Nissing, Karnal, under Sections 148, 149, 323, 452 & 506 IPC (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise dated 31.03.2023 (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 13.04.2023, report dated 25.04.2023 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Karnal, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without any undue influence or pressure.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.162, dated 21.05.2016, registered at Police Station Nissing, Karnal, under Sections 148, 149, 323, 452 & 506 IPC (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner.
