The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.21 dated 2.3.2016 registered for the offences under Sections 392, 365 and 427 IPC at Police Station Sadar Nawanshahr, District S.B.S. Nagar.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.
From the record, I find that as per the prosecution version, the present petitioner has been nominated in the case in which truck Tata 2515 bearing registration No.HR-38-N-8688 was robbed on the G.T. Road by the 5/6 occupants of the car who forced to stop the truck. There is also allegation that `10,000/- and Mobile phones were also robbed. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, nature and gravity of the offences, the petitioner is required for Harpal Singh Parmar 2016.09.07 10:37 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
Cr. Misc. No.M-30883 of 2016 [2] custodial interrogation. Therefore, I do not find it a fit case where the present petitioner is entitled to the benefit of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
