**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 167 dated 18.7.2017 registered at Police Station Sadar, Amritsar under Sections 363, 366-A IPC (offence under Section 376 IPC and Section 6 of POCSO Act added later on).

Counsel for the petitioner urges that the petitioner is in custody since July 2017 and statement of the victim has been recorded. Counsel further submits that in the statement made under Section 164 Cr.P.C. the girl had stated that she had gone on her own and the trial would take time. Petitioner is in custody since July 2017. Statement of the victim has been recorded. The trial would take some more time.
