(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to update the record pertaining to FIR No.115 dated 21.04.2014, under Sections 399, 402 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959, Police Station Nakodar, District Jalandhar City as the petitioner had been declared innocent but the official record is still showing him as accused.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose would be achieved if respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural, is directed to look into representation dated 20.01.2019 (P-4) filed by the petitioner before him, in a time-bound manner.

In case, the petitioner is summoned as additional accused under Section 319 Cr.P.C., the police would make specific entry in this regard.
