(Oral) Notice of motion, at this stage, to respondent No. 1 only. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Adhiraj Singh, AAG, Punjab accepts notice for respondent No. 1-State of Punjab. Learned State counsel, on instruction from ASI Nazzar Singh, submits that the petitioners are still on the run despite their anticipatory bail having been dismissed by this Court on 08.12.2023. Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present petition at this stage with liberty to file afresh, if the cause of action so ensues. Permission is granted. The present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
