Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Raghuvir Singh, submits that pursuant to the order dated 16.5.2022, the petitioner has joined the investigation, but certain dowry articles are still to be recovered from him. Merely because some alleged articles still remain to be recovered, is no ground to seek custody of the petitioner. The facts regarding the alleged dowry and its entrustment are still to be established during trial. In view thereof, the petition is allowed.
