Ms. Priyanka Sadar, AAG Punjab * * * * The Labour Court directed reinstatement of the petitioner with continuity of service but without back wages. The State of Punjab has challenged the said award by filing the present writ petition. No stay had been granted.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent-workman states that the workman was taken back in service with continuity of service and has since retired. Counsel further states that the workman has been paid the retiral benefits. The relief granted by the Labour Court has since been granted to the workman. This renders the presence petition as infructuous and the same is disposed of accordingly.
