According to report received from the Supreme court cell, following order has been passed in Criminal Appeal No. 1832/2008:- "We have heard Mr. Piyush Hans, learned Standing Counsel for the State of Haryana at length today. We do not find that there is any reason to interfere with the impugned order dated 30.11.2006 so passed by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana.

In view of that, we find no merit in the appeal filed by the State of Haryana.

Accordingly, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed." Learned State counsel fairly submits that no cause of action, thus, survives in this case.

In view of decision of Criminal Appeal No(s). 1832/2008 preferred before the Supreme court, no further direction in this revision petition is necessary. Besides, petitioner remains unrepresented. Dismissed.

Petitioner shall, however, be at liberty to move an application for revival of the revision petition in case any cause of action survives.
