In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life, liberty and property of the petitioner and his family members, at the hands of respondents No. 4 to 9.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the very outset contends that the purpose of the instant petition would be achieved, if respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, is directed to decide the representation dated 25.07.2017 (Annexure P-3) moved by the petitioner. 3.
In view of the above, respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, is directed to look into the matter and decide the representation dated 25.07.2017 (Annexure P-3), moved by the petitioner in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to him within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
