RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.66 dated 26.03.2015 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 279, 337, 338 and 427 IPC registered at Police Station Sohana, District S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali), on the basis of compromise dated 08.08.2017 (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to the order dated 18.08.2017 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 22.08.2017 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, SAS Nagar Mohali, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.149 dated 24.08.2017 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, SAS Nagar vide Endst. No.7969 dated 25.08.2017.

According to the report, the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class is satisfied that compromise entered into between the parties is genuine and without any pressure or undue influence.

Considering the report of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class dated

-2CRM-M-30113 of 2017 24.08.2017 and the fact that the compromise will bring harmony in relations between the parties, FIR No.66 dated 26.03.2015 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 279, 337, 338 and 427 IPC registered at Police Station Sohana, District S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali), is hereby quashed. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
