NARESH KUMAR SANGHI, J (Oral) Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 439, Cr.P.C., is for grant of bail to the petitioner, Jagtar Singh @ Bittu @ Jhatkai, son of Jaswant Singh, resident of Mill Colony, Bhogpur, District Jalandhar, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in a case arising out of FIR No. 169, dated 3.10.2013, registered at Police Station, Bhogpur, District Jalandhar.

Learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Parminder Singh of Police Station, Bhogpur, District Jalandhar, submits that out of eight, seven prosecution witnesses have been PRASHANT KAPOOR 2015.09.29 18:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM-M-30112-2015 examined and the next date before learned Trial Court for recording the deposition of the remaining prosecution witness is 16.10.2015. He further submits that the prosecution is making hectic efforts to conclude its evidence.

In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition and prays for withdrawal of the same at this stage.

Dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
