After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to file representation before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur in light of judgment in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar and another, 2014(3) R.C.R. (Crl.) 527.

In view of statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid. Needless to observe that in case petitioner makes a representation in light of Arnesh Kumar's case (supra), the concerned authority shall consider his case accordingly.
